ABOUT CULTIVATED CARE

Care should feel personal.

We created Cultivated Care because families and caregivers deserve more than a marketplace. They deserve to feel known, respected, and supported.

OUR STORY

Born from a deep passion for supporting families and caregivers.

Founded by Annalise, who brings together formal education and hands-on experience in early childhood education, Cultivated Care Agency was created to be a space where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.

At its core, the agency aims to take the stress out of finding the right caregiver—or the right job. We’re committed not only to making thoughtful, meaningful matches between families and nannies, but also to investing in the ongoing growth of caregivers.

Monthly meetings feature guest speakers such as child psychologists, pediatric chiropractors, doulas, and other specialists. This ongoing education keeps caregivers informed and inspired, equipping them with current insights and techniques in early childhood development.

It’s not just about finding care—it’s about cultivating it.

Annalise Trenkamp

Annalise is a dedicated early childhood education professional who earned her Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. Her undergraduate degree in art from Wayne State University taught her how to create exciting and engaging experiences for children, complementing her broad experience in child development.

Her career spans nannying, teaching, and specialized childcare. She currently works as a nanny for a nanny share in Ann Arbor, caring for two children while fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth through thoughtful activities. Previously, she served as a substitute teacher across all grade levels and worked as a snowboard and swim instructor, helping students develop skills while prioritizing safety.

Annalise has also supported children with special needs as a Registered Behavior Technician, implementing behavior plans for children diagnosed with autism. Her ability to connect with children, encourage independence, and create safe, joyful learning environments has remained consistent throughout her work.

CPR and First Aid certified, Annalise is committed to supporting children and families in meaningful, nurturing ways. She continues building a career that brings together her passion for teaching, caregiving, and helping young learners grow.

CO-OWNER

Lisa Escalante

Lisa is an experienced career nanny with more than ten years of professional experience guiding families through the unpredictable stages of parenthood. By anticipating upcoming challenges, she helps prepare both children and parents with tools for the bumps that may lie ahead.

Honored to work with families from many backgrounds, Lisa studies and incorporates the cultural traditions that matter to each family. At parents’ request, she has also shared her own Mexican culture while teaching nanny children Spanish—creating an immersive world of language, food, music, and entertainment.

Lisa is also an ambassador for Metro Detroit Nanny. In that role, she facilitates nanny training events, caregiver meetups, and playdates for children in their care. She is deeply passionate about educating caregivers and parents so they can better support the children who depend on them.

Through outreach, education, and relationship-building, Lisa aims to uplift the caregiver community and help care become more connected, informed, and sustainable.
